Cost : Orders are normally quoted FOB or CIF.

Customs Clearance Charges / Times :
These charges/times are per consignment, typically -
NZ : $350 + $50 per w/m - 2 days
Aus : $220 + $100 per w/m - 7 days
USA : $250 + $40 per w/m - 7-14 days
UK : £100 +£50 per w/m - 10 days
Note: The minimum charge is 1.0 m3 / 1000 kgs
Terminology: w = weight, m = m3
For other countries, please enquire.
Allow 1-2 days for wharfage, and 1-3 days for intra-country
freighting depending on distance from port.
Enquiries : When making enquiries, please be specific
and give as much information as possible. This will save
valuable time and you will get a helpful answer much quicker.
Freight : Air freight is charged on weight and
is only reasonable for small or very urgent consignments;
Sea freight is charged on the greater of either volume
or weight, ie 1.0 m3 / 1000 kgs minimum. As rates change
frequently, ask if you require a quote.
Guarantee : All products and commodities are carefully
checked prior to shipment. Supplying companies normally
provide warranty cover, however, as return shipping is
usually not practicable, warranties may be limited to
replacement parts or repair. Refund or replacement occurs
in the unlikely event of serious problems.
Logos : For dealers / resellers, often your our
own logo, picture, design, etc, can be placed on a manufactured
product. Just provide us with an image..
Manufacture time : Although some commodities are
available immediately for delivery, most products need
to be manufactured or readied for shipment, and some specially
to your individual design or specifications.
Payment : Payment is by letter of credit (L/C),
bank transfer (T/T or wire) or by cleared cheque (check).
For payments other than by L/C, normally a 50% deposit
is required with confirmed order and the balance prior
to shipment. For short shipment times this will be 100%
at time of order confirmation.
Standard international cheque clearance time is 30 days.
(NOTE : We have strict conditions for payment by cheque,
and strongly recommend payment by bank transfer (T/T or
wire)).
Price Lists : Please ask for a specific price
or quote if possible. There are some price lists available,
but not for all ranges of product. Please see pricing
and quotes.
Pricing : Each order and shipment is individually
priced / quoted to your requirements. Customs (import)
duties and taxes are the buyers responsibility unless
specifically asked for. We can often inform you of any
duties payable, but not any local taxes.

Ordering : You may place your order by using our

Order size: Almost all manufacturers / suppliers
have minimum quantity lots stipulated, generally container
size lots.
For orders less than minimum quantity size, there will
be added charges. Some manufacturers will not supply less
than the minimum quantity lot, in which case attempts
will be made to secure your order thorough an agent. The
cost will be greater.
Also note customs clearance (and sea freight below 1.0
m3 / 1000 kgs) are the same regardless of order size,
or quantity.
Order Confirmation : occurs when all order and
payment conditions have been met.
Quotes : The price of goods is quoted prior to
time of confirmation of order, and is normally FOB or
CIF. Often we can inform you of any duties payable. You
will need to check if local taxes (if any) are payable.
Shipping time : (add the following)
1 - supplier to port 2-35 days
2 - ship departure 2-5 days
2 - departure port to destination port
- by air - approx 2-5 days,
- by sea - approx 14-30 days,
3 - time for wharfage 1-2 days,
4 - time for customs 2-7 days normal
5 - for intra-country freight 1-2 days.
(extremes are: air (8-28); sea: (22-76).
Stock : We do not hold stock. We purchase on indent
orders. That way you get the best price possible.
Translations : We have the cultural and translation
capabilities to successfully negotiate with most nationalities
worldwide.
