Remember me saying that when it rained, the surface gets very slippery and the ground in places soft ?
Well the morning after the rain we decided to go to the Bore Bath, but never got there !

We set up camp right there and waited for two days for the ground to dry a bit, then with much skill extricated Betty from the mire.
It was then time to leave Lightning Ridge and proceed north-east towards Brisbane.
